Disclaimer
Effective date: October 7, 2026
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This Disclaimer explains the purpose and limitations of The Military Exit Plan website, course, resources, and educational services provided by CLOUDMARK LLC, a Florida-based limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"), through themilitaryexitplan.com.
Please read it together with our Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. Our services are offered only to individuals located in the United States who are at least 18 years old.
Educational guidance: The Military Exit Plan provides education and tools to help you think through a military-to-civilian transition. It does not provide individualized legal, tax, investment, financial, medical, or mental-health advice, government decisions, or VA claims representation.
We are an independent business and do not guarantee employment, earnings, benefits, program approval, or a specific transition outcome. Your purchase commitments and any consumer rights required by law remain in effect.
1. Purpose and scope
The Military Exit Plan is an educational program about planning a military-to-civilian transition. It covers subjects such as evaluating transition decisions, comparing compensation, preparing for a civilian career, understanding general benefits information, and exploring military transition programs.
This Disclaimer applies to our website, instructional videos, written lessons, worksheets, templates, calculators, resource pages, emails, discovery calls, and related educational guidance. A separate service agreement may describe the scope of any additional service you purchase.
The course supports your planning. It does not make decisions for you, replace your official responsibilities, or take over your transition process.
2. Independent status and no government endorsement
CLOUDMARK LLC and The Military Exit Plan are independent of the U.S. government, the U.S. military, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and other government agencies. Our course and services are not government programs and are not endorsed, sponsored, or approved by those entities.
Military experience, references to military service or government programs, military-related imagery, and links to official resources do not imply government endorsement. The views expressed in our educational materials are those of the people expressing them, not official government or military positions.
We do not speak for your chain of command, transition office, employer, benefits administrator, or a government agency.
3. Professional-advice limits
Our materials and conversations provide general education and transition guidance. They are not a substitute for individualized advice from qualified professionals who can evaluate your particular circumstances.
- Legal and tax matters: Consult an appropriately qualified attorney or tax professional about legal rights, obligations, disputes, contracts, taxes, or filing decisions.
- Financial and investment matters: Consult a qualified financial professional about your personal finances, retirement, investments, insurance, or other financial decisions.
- Medical and mental-health matters: Consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional about diagnosis, treatment, medical evidence, or health concerns.
- Benefits and military requirements: Confirm your circumstances with the responsible government agency, benefits office, transition personnel, or other authorized source.
Purchasing the course, using a resource, or participating in a discovery call does not create an attorney-client, licensed financial-adviser, healthcare-provider, or government-representative relationship.
4. No guaranteed employment, earnings, or outcomes
We do not guarantee that participation will produce a job offer, a particular salary or income increase, successful interviews, a specific transition timeline, approval for a military program, a VA disability rating, or a benefits award.
Your results depend on factors such as your qualifications, experience, circumstances, effort, decisions, employers, market conditions, and actions taken by military authorities or government agencies. Applying course material cannot ensure a particular result.
The course title, descriptions, examples, and discussions of potential benefits explain the subject and intended educational value of the program. They do not create a promise of a specific personal outcome. This provision does not withdraw an express purchase commitment or excuse an inaccurate or misleading representation.
5. Compensation comparisons, calculators, and worksheets
Compensation comparisons, worksheets, calculators, and other planning tools provide estimates based on assumptions and the information entered. They are not payroll calculations, tax determinations, benefit decisions, investment recommendations, or guarantees of future income.
Actual take-home pay and total compensation may differ because of taxes, deductions, allowances, insurance costs, retirement contributions, location, eligibility, benefit rules, and the terms of a particular employment offer. An estimated civilian salary or benefits value may not be equivalent to your actual military compensation.
Review your inputs and assumptions. Confirm important figures against current official information, your own pay and benefit records, written employment offers, and appropriate professional advice before making a financial or transition decision.
6. VA disability and veterans' benefits information
Information about VA disability and other veterans' benefits is provided for general education. The course does not include preparation, filing, or prosecution of an individual VA claim or appeal, or representation before VA.
Buying the course or booking a discovery call does not appoint us as your VA representative. VA determines eligibility, ratings, effective dates, and benefit awards under the applicable rules and the facts of an individual case. We do not make those decisions or guarantee their outcome.
For individualized claims assistance, contact VA or an appropriate VA-accredited representative. You can learn about available assistance through VA's official accredited-representative resources.
General discussion of a medical condition or disability rating is not a medical diagnosis or treatment recommendation.
7. SkillBridge, military programs, and official decisions
Information about SkillBridge, separation, retirement, transition assistance, and other military programs is educational. Eligibility and participation depend on the applicable service rules, command authorization, mission requirements, program criteria, and available opportunities.
We do not approve program participation, authorize leave or separation, waive service obligations, secure a particular placement, or guarantee acceptance by a provider or employer.
Confirm current requirements with your chain of command, transition office, program administrator, and official program resources before submitting an application, making commitments, or changing your plans. Course information does not override military orders or official requirements.
8. Career resources, resumes, and applications
Resume templates, military-experience translation tools, networking suggestions, LinkedIn guidance, and interview resources support your own career preparation. They do not guarantee that an employer will consider, interview, hire, or compensate you at a particular level.
Review and personalize any output before using it. You are responsible for accurately describing your qualifications, credentials, employment history, accomplishments, and eligibility. A template or example does not establish that you hold a credential or performed work that you did not perform.
Employer requirements and recruiting practices vary. Confirm specific requirements directly with the employer or responsible organization.
9. Examples, testimonials, and recommendations
Personal stories, examples, and testimonials describe particular experiences or illustrate a planning scenario. They do not guarantee your results. Hypothetical examples are illustrations, not reports of actual customer outcomes.
When a testimonial or example communicates a claim about expected results, the claim must have appropriate support and any required qualification or expected-results disclosure must accompany it. A general statement that results vary, or this Disclaimer alone, does not replace those disclosures.
If we use a recommendation involving compensation, an affiliate commission, or another material connection that requires disclosure, we disclose that connection with the relevant recommendation or link. This provision does not mean that every resource or link has such a relationship.
10. Information currency and outside resources
Military policies, benefit rules, compensation figures, tax requirements, employer practices, and program opportunities can change. Information that was accurate when a lesson or resource was prepared may later become outdated.
We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate educational materials, but cannot ensure that every item reflects every later change or applies to every individual's circumstances. Verify information that could materially affect your decisions with the responsible authority or a qualified professional.
Links to independent websites are provided as resources. We do not control their content, availability, services, or information practices. Review the relevant source and its own terms before relying on it. This does not remove our responsibilities for the course and services we sell.
11. Purchase commitments and consumer rights
This Disclaimer explains educational limitations. It does not cancel the course content, access, included resources, or other express benefits promised in the purchase offer you accepted, including the lifetime course-access commitment described in our Terms.
Our Refund Policy addresses change-of-mind requests, billing corrections, delivery problems, and required remedies. This Disclaimer does not override that policy, a specific express purchase promise, or a refund or other right required by applicable law.
Any warranty or liability limitations in our Terms and Conditions apply only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here excuses fraud, material misrepresentation, or failure to deliver what was purchased, or removes a consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
Our Privacy Policy separately explains personal-information practices and discovery-call recording consent.
12. Updates to this Disclaimer
We may update this Disclaimer as our services, educational materials, or applicable requirements change. We post the revised version with an updated "Last updated" date.
A later update does not retroactively remove an express purchase commitment or a protected legal right. We provide additional notice and obtain assent when required for a material change to an existing agreement.
